Our Owner's Story

Nancy Taylor grew up in Hood River, Oregon, where she spent many afternoons riding the bus to gymnastics practice. If she wasn’t at the gym, she was likely at dance class or piano lessons. Gymnastics quickly became one of her greatest passions—not only because of the skills she learned, but because it taught her the value of hard work, patience, and perseverance.

As a young girl, Nancy was very shy. Through gymnastics, she gained confidence, strength, and the ability to step outside of her comfort zone. The gym became a place where she built lasting friendships and discovered a sense of belonging.

In 1993, Nancy married her high school sweetheart, and together they raised three children. When her children were young, she naturally introduced them to gymnastics, wanting them to experience the same confidence and joy the sport had given her. This led to her volunteering at their gymnastics academy, where her passion for working with children and being part of their growth truly began to take shape.

In addition to her involvement in gymnastics, Nancy has been a dedicated piano instructor for over 28 years, teaching both children and adults. Her love for teaching has always been rooted in helping others build confidence, discipline, and a sense of accomplishment.

Fitness has also remained a central part of Nancy’s life. She became a CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Kids certified instructor and coached CrossFit Kids classes for three years prior to opening Infinity.

In January 2017, Nancy founded Infinity Gymnastics with a clear purpose: to create a positive, supportive environment where children can grow not only as athletes, but as confident individuals. Her goal has always been to help kids discover that movement and exercise are fun, empowering, and something they can carry with them for a lifetime.

Infinity Gymnastics was built on the belief that every child deserves a place to belong, to be encouraged, and to succeed at their own pace—just as Nancy experienced as a young gymnast.
