WHAT IS IT?
Virtual Assisted Learning at Infinity is not a private school or an educational institution. It is a day program that allows children to have structured days with peers at Infinity. Included throughout the day is scheduled time for school work, Physical Education, Art, game time, and lunch/snack. This program will run until North Coast Schools open up and families are comfortable returning to public school. We recommend utilizing your local school district distant learning program or the learning program of the parent’s choice. Our staff will be there to ensure the students are working on their schoolwork during the allocated times.

8:15-9:30 SCHOOL WORK (1.25 HR)
9:30 – 9:45 Snack / Mental Break (15 MIN)
9:45 – 10:15 Group Activity (30 MIN)
10:15 – 11:15 SCHOOL WORK (1 HR)
11:15 – 12:00 P.E. (45 MIN)
12:00 – 12:30 Lunch (30 MIN)
12:30 – 1:45 SCHOOL WORK (1.25 HR)
1:45 – 2:00 Snack/Mental Break (15 MIN)
2:00 – 2:25 Group Activity (25 MIN)
2:25 – 2:55 SCHOOL WORK (30 MIN)
2:55 – 3:00 Pack Up Time
THE DETAILS!
CURRICULUM:
We recommend utilizing your local school district distance learning, these courses are taught virtually by you local school teachers. However, parents may decide on whatever system or program they would like their child to use. The purpose of Infinity in this program is not to teach or tutor. Staff is there to ensure student discipline with regard to doing their work independently in the allocated time frames. They will provide minor assistance to ensure success for the student.
STAFF:
It is important to realize that the staff are not teachers or tutors. They will provide basic assistance as best possible to ensure student success, but student academic success is ultimately reliant on the virtual program they are taking, the student’s merit, and parent oversight.
Parents are able to hire an outside Tutor or Therapist to come in
during the Virtual School day to meet with their child.
GROUPS:
Groups will be small, ratios of 10 students per staff member for 1st-2nd grade and 10 for 3rd-5th grades.
LAPTOP & OTHER SUPPLIES:
Students will be required to bring their own materials for their school work, including their own laptop, charger, headphones, etc as required for their learning program.
LUNCH AND SNACK:
Infinity will not be providing lunch, students must bring a pre-packed lunch and snack. We have snacks available for purchase $1 each.
TUITION:
Standard Member Rate:
$175 Weekly (Monday-Friday)
Standard Non-Member Rate:
$199 Weekly (Monday-Friday)
Tuition is run automatically every Monday of each new week. . Holidays or other missed days are not prorated except for the early enrollment 1st Week discount.
Please keep in mind that our Virtual Assisted days follow the Astoria/Warrenton School calendar. If these schools are out, Virtual Assisted Learning is closed.
Refunds/Credits.
No refunds or monetary credits are available for this program.
In the case of a Force Majeure event, such as a forced shut down, monetary credit to the account can then be applied.
